Meet Dr. Marcus
Dr. David Marcus is the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Calaway·Young Cancer Center in Glenwood Springs, CO, where he has practiced since 2014. Dr. Marcus is board-certified in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Marcus’ clinical interests include breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and head and neck cancer. As both a cancer physician and a cancer survivor, Dr. Marcus approaches patient care from a uniquely compassionate and empathic perspective. Dr. Marcus also serves as the President of the Valley View Medical Staff.
Education and Training
Dr. Marcus graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 2009. Based on his record of academic excellence, in addition to earning Magna Cum Laude honors, Dr. Marcus was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school graduation, he remained at Emory to complete an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Radiation Oncology, which he completed in 2014.
